• Simon Grint B Comm (Rhodes), ACMA

  Simon has worked with entrepreneurial businesses from the early stages of his business career. His experience spans start up owner managed businesses to blue chip and FTSE 100 organisations primarily engaged in the automotive, technology and telecommunications sectors. Much of his work to date has focused on performance improvement which has utilised business planning and forecasting, KPI management and system implementations as a platform for change. He believes that good quality information is an essential tool that should underpin the strategic development of any organisation.
  Simon’s career began in South Africa 15 years ago and he retains both personal and business connections with the country. Simon has been based in the UK since mid 1999.
  As the founder of Manthorpe Grint and in addition to his client responsibilities, Simon is responsible for the development of the business, the expansion of the client base and the recruitment of associates to join the Manthorpe Grint team.

  In his free time Simon is a keen golfer and rugby follower.
  
  
• Robert McFarland AIA, MBA (Ulster)

  Robert is a highly experienced manager with a wide range of financial, commercial and strategic experience within multi-national corporations. He has a strong operations and joint-venture background with wide-ranging experience of financial control in manufacturing, international trade, and wholesale distribution channels. He has had significant exposure European and Asian business environments.
  He has a proven track record in business turnarounds and is consistently successful in troubleshooting and streamlining operations to improve profitability. He has raised funding through institutions and private equity and led numerous acquisitions and integrations.

  Robert’s interests extend from cycling to motorsport and the cinema.
